Michael Moon, M.D.
Medical Director / Founder
Dr. Moon specializes in interventional spine procedures as well as acute and chronic pain management. He is a graduate of Loma Linda University where he completed medical school, residency and fellowship training.
Dr. Moon is Board Certified in both Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation as well as in Pain Management.
Saiyun Hou, M.D., PH.D.
Pain Management Physician
Saiyun “Sam” Hou, M.D., Ph.D. is an orthopaedic spine surgeon turned pain management physician. Dr. Hou is board certified in both Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine.
He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Baylor College of Medicine and received his ACGME-accredited pain fellowship training at the University of Texas at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Danny Song, D.C. PTA
Chiropractor, Physical Therapy Assistant
Dr. Song is a Doctor of Chiropractic, Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant and a Qualified Medical Examiner. He is also credentialed as a Diplomate through the American Academy of Pain Management.
Dr. Song graduated on the Dean’s List from the Southern California University of Health Sciences. He specializes in chiropractic, physical rehabilitation, exercise physiology and nutritional counseling.
Alan Saluta, D.P.T.
Physical Therapist
Dr. Saluta is a licensed physical therapist and a graduate from University Southern California’s Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program charter class. His clinical experience includes extensive inpatient and outpatient orthopedics, inpatient pulmonary rehabilitation following lung volume reduction surgery and inpatient postoperative abdominal and gastric bypass surgery. Further work experience includes outpatient orthopedics and rehabilitation as well as acute inpatient rehabilitation at UCLA Medical Center.
John Nguyen, Ph.D.
Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Nguyen is a clinical psychologist with more than 10 years of experience treating a wide range of concerns including chronic pain, depression, anxiety and trauma.
His solution-focused approach involves the use of evidence-based practices like Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), biofeedback, and applied psychophysiology. Dr. Nguyen works to match his patients’ needs and preferences in order to maximize their favorable outcomes.
Brian Sanders, D.P.T.
Physical Therapist
Dr. Sanders is a licensed physical therapist and certified clinical instructor. After graduating from the University of San Francisco with his BS in Exercise and Sport Science, he received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine in Florida.
Dr. Sanders uses a combination of traditional manual physical therapy, myofascial release, meditation, visualization and a variety of pain-relieving technologies including laser therapy, shockwave therapy and spinal decompression to help decrease and often eliminate persistent pain.
Krystle Lejano, LMFT
Psychotherapist
Krystle Lejano is a licensed marriage and family therapist with more than 12 years of experience working in the mental health field. Krystal has practiced in a variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient and residential. She supports PainCare’s Functional Restoration Program, taking an integrative approach to meet the needs of FRP patients. Her goal is to help people through all walks of life, one step at a time.
